A Non-Profit Approach to Legal Literature Publishing
The Foundation for Publications Issued by the Faculty of Law at Stockholm University supports the publication of legal literature in the form of two series. In recent years, the foundation has focused its efforts on publishing e-books. The foundation is a business entity but, unlike commercial publishers on the market, has no profit motive. Revenues from the sale of e-books fund the production of new editions and are distributed to the authors as royalties. By reducing the number of intermediaries, the foundation can keep prices low for new editions, particularly for e-books used as course literature.

Professor Claes Lernestedt
Claes Lernestedt is professor of criminal law at Stockholm University, with a particular interest in the general part of criminal law as well as legal philosophical and various interdisciplinary aspects of criminal law.

Professor Jane Reichel
A professor in administrative law. She has been at the faculty since 2018 and before that she was a professor of administrative law at the Faculty of Law, Uppsala University.

Professor Frantzeska Papadopoulou
Frantzeska Papadopoulou is professor of civil law with a special focus on intellectual property law at Stockholm University. Since 2020, she has been the subject head for intellectual property law at the university. She has extensive experience teaching law at various higher education institutions in Sweden and is particularly interested in methodological issues.

Economics degree from the Stockholm School of Economics in 1979, law degree (jur. kand.) from Stockholm University in 1981, PhD in law from Stockholm University in 1986, and docent in financial law at Stockholm University in 1987. University lecturer in financial law from 1987 onwards, with an interruption for a research position in corporate taxation at HSFR, and professor of financial law at Stockholm University from 1992 – 2020.

Docent Katrin Lainpelto
Course director for the basic course in Procedural Law and the specialized courses Investigation (together with Simon Andersson) and Criminal Procedure – case course with an evidentiary law focus. In addition, I teach the specialized courses Legal Psychology and Child Law and lecture at other agencies and organizations.
